SUNSET is a program of the San Francisco Department of Public Health's Newcomers
Health Program and Bay Area Community Resources.
- Initiate a community-wide organizing effort around tobacco issues, including media and other public awareness events
- Conduct culturally appropriate information sessions on environmental tobacco smoke (ETS) and encourage smoke-free homes, vehicles and public places
- Implement culturally appropriate clinics on quitting smoking
- Develop culturally appropriate Russian language materials on ETS and quitting
smoking
