Martin Weinstein


Martin Weinstein is the CEO of Bay Area Community Resources. Martin has been a leader within the organization and the community for over 30 years and has led the development of BACR into a dynamic and highly diversified non-profit agency.

Mr. Weinstein's professional history combines a solid theoretical background in business and a successful application in the social service arena. He holds an undergraduate degree from the Wharton School of Finance, University of Pennsylvania, and earned his MBA from New York University. He served as Vice President for the Urban Research Corporation under the leadership of John Naisbitt, author of Megatrends. Subsequently, he served as Vice President for Pacific Consultants and was principal investigator on a number of national studies.  Martin currently serves on the Steering Committee for Voices for National Service and is the Chair Person of the California AmeriCorps Alliance.  He previously served on the board of directors of The Center for Independent Living and the Beneficial State Bank Foundation.

Mary Jo Williams


Mary Jo Williams has been COO for Bay Area Community Resources (BACR) since its merger (1994) with the Alcoholism Council of Marin where she was formerly the Executive Director. Ms. Williams has nearly 20 years' experience successfully developing and managing mental health, alcohol, tobacco and drug abuse prevention and treatment projects providing services to over 5,000 persons annually. She is also active in the community, working with schools, local city and county government and community-based organizations.

Prior to BACR, Ms Williams was Executive Director of the National Council on Alcoholism and Drugs, local affiliate in Lincoln, Nebraska. She also served as Field Representative for the State Division of Alcohol and Drug Abuse and as Legislative Liaison to the Office of the Governor for the Nebraska Department of Public Institutions reviewing state regulations and legislation for mental health, mental retardation and substance abuse services.

Cathleen Campbell


Cathleen joined Bay Area Community Resources in May 2003 as the Chief Financial Officer (CFO).  She graduated with honors from Chico State University with degrees in accounting and finance and is a licensed CPA in the State of California.  Prior to joining BACR, Cathleen worked in the pension department at McKinsey & Company and in the tax and audit department of Jones and Schiller.  Her public accounting experience specialized in non-profit organizations and school districts.
