As part of their National Service commitment, Climate Corps AmeriCorps Fellows joined together on Martin Luther King Jr. Day to perform an environmentally-themed Day of Service. The cohort partnered with Richmond nonprofit and Climate Corps partner, The Watershed Project, to pick up trash along the shoreline of Stege Marsh. Among hundreds of pieces of styrofoam and plastic, Fellows picked up some notable items including a pair of Nike's and a laptop bag. We appreciate these Fellows for improving the environment around them, both in their Fellowship roles and in their volunteer work.
