Creating spaces where youth and families can find belonging.

The De Anza High School Health Center was established in June 2007 as a collaboration effort between the West Contra Costa Unified School District and Bay Area Community Resources. The Health Center collaborates with a number of local service providers to deliver free, accessible, on-site health services available for all De Anza High School students. Basic services include health education information and workshops, mental health individual and group counseling, violence prevention programs, drug and alcohol prevention/youth development programs, and reproductive health medical services including: STD screening and treatment, pregnancy testing, reproductive health counseling, and contraceptives. This year, DeAnza will be serving 600 students directly and 1100 will be reached.
