Monica Vaughan

Board Member

Monica is a highly accomplished educator in Alameda County, boasting a distinguished career marked by various executive leadership positions on the district and county levels. She currently serves as Senior Chief of Schools for the Alameda County Office of Education. Throughout her career, Monica has focused her efforts on building educational programs for vulnerable students within alternative education settings. She serves on the Alameda County Juvenile Justice Coordinating Council, the Alameda County SB 823 Subcommittee responsible for planning juvenile justice realignment programs, and the Education Advisory of California’s new Office of Youth and Community Restoration. Additionally, she brings valuable expertise from her extensive nonprofit board leadership experience. Monica resides in Alameda County.

Monica does not currently serve on any other boards.
