OUR MISSION

individuals. families. communities

We work in the heart of our communities to foster generational change.

OUR GUIDING PRINCIPLES

GENERATIONAL CHANGE

(OUR NORTH STAR)

We believe meaningful and sustainable social change requires a gradual transformation of attitudes, behaviors, and societal norms as each generation succeeds the other.

PEOPLE CENTERED

We believe our greatest impact on the well-being of individuals and communities happens when we put people at the center.

SELF -DETERMINATION

We believe our communities thrive when people are equipped and empowered to determine their own future.

COLLECTIVE PARTNERSHIP

We believe collaborative alliances of all kinds are essential for confronting and resolving the complex and daunting social challenges of today.

INTERNAL CONNECTION AND ALIGNMENT

We believe that coordinating and collaborating across our diverse programs, teams, and operations elevates the quality, effectiveness and unity of our organization.

OUR COMPETITIVE ADVANTAGES

We’re proud to share that BACR has earned the Candid Platinum Seal of Transparency - the highest level of recognition offered by Candid (formerly Guidestar). This designation reflects our commitment to transparency, accountability, and impact. It means we go beyond the basics to share detailed information about our work, goals, metrics, and results-because we believe our communities and partners deserve nothing less.
