BACR provides fiscal sponsorship for community-based organizations whose core values and mission are aligned with our own.
Our financial services include fund-based accounting according to generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP). We provide fiscal grant management of federal, state and local grants and contracts. Our services include preparation of invoices and grant reports customized to meet grant-specific requirements. Sponsored projects are covered by BACR insurance policies, included in GAAP and Federal audits and all Federal, state and local tax filings.
In addition to the fiscal and administrative services provided to sponsored projects, BACR offers payroll and human resource services to organizations.

CRITERIA FOR ACCEPTANCE

Share BACR’s mission: The BACR mission is to promote healthy development among individuals and families, to encourage service and volunteerism, and to help build community. We support and develop our volunteers so they can serve and develop themselves, and we support communities and institutions so they can provide healthy environment.

Adhere to a Code of Ethics and/or Best Practices: Projects should operate in a manner consistent with BACR Best Practices and at a minimum

Recognize the needs and strengths of the people to be served and support their development;

Work within communities and build alliances to meet community needs;

Base services on proven models and methods; and

Strive to reach goals and get results.

Projects are NOT eligible if they are for-profit entities or individuals.
